When do you pay your fee? I thought it was at the time of the interview. My husband 1st interview was July 7th, 2008. They never collected a fee from him. I thought it was because he was put on AP and wasn't going to get his Visa.

His 2nd interview was on Wednesday 10th, they still have nto collected the money for the Visa.

Now I am curiouse if he should have paid this at the first iterview???

Thank in advance for any help.

That's strange, because they always collect the fee, they ask you before you can go to the next stage. Maybe they were being generous to you gys, maybe you were just blessed you know, maybe they will ask for it on the day he goes to pick his visa, who knows....

Peace and Blessings.

MrsJibowu: You are CR-1 or IR-1, YOU paid the $400 fee to NVC (12/07/2007), when you processed the DS-230.

The OP is CR-1/IR-1 Visa they pay fee to NVC. In your case K-3 the $131 fee for the NON-Immigrant K-Visa is paid at consulate. Edited by YuAndDan

There aren't any more fees to be paid after your case has been completed at the NVC. You're done paying.

Only fee I can think of in the case of CR-1/IR-1, is some consulates charge a fee for fingerprints, and others charge a postage fee for mailing the visa packet out to the recipient upon approval.
