my noa1 is 8.8.2008 and I just got approved yesterday (learnt it today). So happy yet so nervous for nvc.

Thanks. Happy new year for you too. I can see that CSC is finally going faster. I hope yours will get approved soon. As for me, I am starting reading about NVC like crazy.

Good evening all,

We are also filers at CSC. We had our NOA1 on July 8th, 2008 and have not even received a touch as of this post. I called the USCIS last night and spoke to a very nice lady that told me even though we are past the 6 month processing date as of this time that we cant call for an update until it has been 30 days past our 6 months. She then looked up our case and informed me that because of the transfers form VSC that are older than ours, even though we have always been at the CSC, that they are catching up those petitions before processing our date. The only thing she could tell me about us specifically was that we are still in the normal processing time ( no administrative reviews). So i felt like i accomplished something positive with the call. She did say that we should hear something in the next 30 days and to call back if we dont. I hope that's not the standard brushoff, but she gave me hope anyway! LOL. Well still holding my breath and am an awful shade of blue hehehe!
