dear Stevecolo:

Thank you for your kind words, and your not alone. I too have had that exact situation not once or twice, but many times, where Ill be fine one minute, just shopping for something to buy for dinner, then it happens, I see something I know my wife really likes, and I'll remember back at a time when we were together, then it's like i feel my heart pounding, and i feel weak, and I feel like I am going to just start crying, but I'm a big strong man, and I'm not supposed to just break down in a store in public. I'll do everything I can to stop the overwhelming sinking feeling in my stomach. I'll stop my shopping and gather what I have and get out. I notice the couples in love holding hands, and I wish I could be holding my wifes hand and walking with her. I notice the families walking together, and I feel so alone at times I just can't stand it.

I too have deep depression, and it goes in cycles. Some days I'm fine and other days I'm just miserable, and my health is also effected. I spend many hours just like you on Skype, and live messanger with our camera's so at least we can talk and see each other, it's all I have in my life right now, that I look forward to each day twice a day. I talk to her on the phone before work, then again at 6pm to 10pm every day 7 days a week like clock work. I just shipped her some things for my son, and an old computer tower, I just finished fixing, because her computer is failing, and finding anybody there who knows how to fix a computer is hard to find. We went for a month without internet dsl connection because the company there was sooo bad, wouldn't fix the dsl, so we had to switch to another isp, and that took a month to set it up.

The internet is our life line, and without it my phone bill is way up, so we have to have good service and she has to have a good computer.

Steve I know exactly what your going through. All I can say is keep thinking about the day you get to go pick her up at the airport, think about the joy you will feel when once again she is in your arms. This will help you make it through. Thanks again.

Dear Em40and krisi:

You are absolutly correct!!!!!!

Everyone going through this process is just happy to be done with it and they move on never looking back, so yes this reform in our Immigration policy will not change until people say enough is enough, and we come together even after our own cases are finished. I will write to my congresswoman representative allot more to just let her know there are allot of people that just want this process shortened to a more humane length of time, but I am but one man with one voice.

I find the stories I read on VJ madening, especially the trickery that goes on in the embassies and the interview (interagation) process. I realise we are reading only one side of the story in the view of the interviewee, but there are just to many stories of ridiculas situations to say this process is just, and fair.

Thank you for sending my post to the Obama web site, I only hope somebody reads it and realises what this process does to people, and how much suffering it causes.

Thank you

Brian I think we should start a new topic in which everyone will add their real, personal information in sign of protest ( I am talking about actual names, city, state ) and I believe as it piles up and reaches an impressive number over the months we can send it to all congressman, senators, TV shows and try to get some attention. What do you think?

I think with your help we can do it because I believe your story is very touching and people will respond to it.

It would make make a huge difference for me, because that way my time spent without my wife will not be completely wasted.

We were approved on December 24th! I got an email from CRIS on Christmas. I hadn't even bothered to check our status online the day before because I figured they would not be working on Christmas Eve. Anyway, we sent our petition in early August, so hopefully the rest of the month's CSC filers will be approved soon!!

Good luck to everyone!
