why NOA1 not come yet ? :(

Salam guys

do any one here know whtas is the reasons which make my NOA1 take this long ?!!

i sent it sice 17 days in 25Nov and nothing yet ,,when i read ppl in the proum and check the timelines they take it in

aweek as maximum am really confused now

by the way we have little mistake in marriage contract and i attach letter with it showing the mistake

and women from USCIS was very rude she just said we cant help in that yr case will be stop till u get yr translation fixed

she didnt even ask my name to know my case and lets say if i get it fixed how can i send it or how they will know this

translation for my case

any help guys plz

Well give it some time sometime it takes a week and sometimes it takes a month so just be patient .

We never did receive our NOA1. When we called USCIS they it was mailed and that they did not send out duplicates. They did mail us a letter indicating that they had received the petition and would not send out a duplicate! In any case, if you can track your payment cheque and see that it has been cashed you can get your USCIS case number from the back and that will tell you that they have received it and the date of your NOA1 (or at least very close to it.) Then you can register online and follow your case as well as sign up for email updates.

To be safe you might want to wait until you get your case number - then you can send your additional information in. Prepare a cover sheet indicating your case number, petitioner's name, beneficiary's name, visa appiled for and what you are sending. You have a long wait ahead of you before your file will be touched so I would think you should be okay. Be prepared for a long wait. There is a lot of help available on VJ so you will have company along the way. Good luck.

yup they will send it to you even if you have something wrong

NOA1 means Notice Of Action and its kinda like a receipt so whenever they receive your petition they will send you the NOA1 and it doesn't matter if there is mistake or not

We called 1-800-375-5283 and asked to speak to a supervisor. It took another call 2 - 3 weeks later to actually get them to send a letter indicating our petition was received. We are not applying for the I-129F but I think you might be okay to include the case number and which service station it is being processed at (NVC or CSC). By the time they start processing the I-130 they should match it up with the I -129F and it should be obvious that you are in the system. Of course nothing is simple and straightforward with this process. Good Luck

I agree, the people are rude at USCIS, I think it is to intimidate all of us. At any rate, you should get your NOA1 soon....some take longer due to backlog and other issues at the service centers. Ours only took 3 days on the I-130 and 7 on the I-129F, but that is because were notified by our lawyer and we actually recieved the paper from our lawyer a week before we got the hard copies from VSC. Overall, it is all in God's hands. Be patient and do lots of prayer, you will need it on this journery!

This site will allow you to register with USCIS so you can chceck the status of your case online, follow it for any touches (which just means anytime they pick up your file it is scanned and noted) and also allows you to reigister for email updates. You can set up your account through this link as soon as you have your case number from the back of your cancelled cheque.
