I think the word is approachable. Jennifer Aniston is pretty, smiles at people (at least in movies and photos ). That is probably the best definition of the girl next door that I can think of.

What is amazing to me is that we fall in love with someone's nice things and not so nice things.

I once saw Cheryl Tiegs--another girl next door type-- I was ....enticed? until she laughed. I do not like her laugh. But, would it have mattered if she were laughing in my company? Everyone has something that someone likes about them and everyone has something that someone dislikes about them...

Aren't we lucky when someone accepts all of our faults and loves us just the same?

You might be interested to know that everyone who appears on the cover of those magazines (yes, even Jessica Alba) is heavily photoshopped. Its common practice - especially in fashion mags to alter skin tones, whiten teeth, remove lines & wrinkles etc.

I've even seen one magazine cover where they took a picture of Heidi Klum in a swimsuit and airbrushed jeans onto her.

Hey, in my military experience I met lots of guys like you. You'd do anything regardless of how discusting they are. I remember guys lined up in Karachi Pakistan to do the most vile and disgusting women ever born!

I don't recall ever meeting a woman in the Army who couldn't find a guy. Every woman in uniform or off post appealed to sex starved soldiers no matter how they looked.

Same in the Marines. A WM once told me that she joined up to be around men 24/7 and have all the attention she could handle. Despite being positively frightening, she was married (on Okinawa) within a year of fleet deployment.

So much for serving her country...

So why is Jenny posing like that for millions to see, is someone holding a gun to her head, or is she advertising herself as meat for sale? May the highest bidder get her than.

To me, if you can look but cannot touch, don't even want to bother looking, you are just living in a dream world.
