Funny responses.....interesting enough I have read this procedure on a few occasions done in our GI practice also. What was funny.... we were trying to figure out how to bill for buying a blender to puree it in. I read procedure reports everyday and having c-difficile colitis is no joke. Probably. But I think it'd be even less pleasant! Think about how else you get stuff into your stomache... C diff is horrible however and I absolutely would do this if I had an untreatable case.

Yeah its pretty nasty. Went to a talk (ironically) today, about the enteric microbial genome today where it was mentioned.

Compared it to a Jeff Gordon talk I saw a year ago about the proportions of different populations of enteric microbes as diet varies. Starting to see some pretty interesting collections of specimen.
