Hello VJ community. We are almost set to send in our I-485 package, but I am a bit confused by the I-864.

My wife and I are currently staying with my mother and step-father. My mother has agreed to co-sponsor her since I've only had my current job for a few months. Do I need to fill out two I-864s, one for myself and one for my mother, or an I-864 for myself and I-864a for my mother since we live in the same domicile?

That's about it I suppose. There's a few questions I'm not sure of on the form itself, but answering this main one will probably answer those for me. Thanks in advance! You've all been amazing through this process.

US Citizen Petitioner fills out an I-864, and mother if living in same residence can file an I-864A to add her income to yours for support, she will provide income evidence such as copies of IRS returns (1040/W2/1099) OR simple IRS transcripts.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.
