What does it mean on form I-485 when theey ask "where you inspected by a US immigration officer"? my husband when we came he was in line and then the officer took his package which was given the day he was given his passport back w/ his visa stamped and got his finger prints. after that he was sitted in a waiting room w/ other people and he had to wait sitted for about 20 mins and later was called and was just given his i-94 and then we just went to go get our luggage. so would i put yes or no on that question?

Yes, you were inspected by an officer that is the person at the POE.

Persons who sneak across the border without a visa, were NOT inspected by an officer.
