There are so many reasons one can be told to bring an old passport to the Embassy. How they knew he had two passports is anyone's guess, but I would comply with the request and not try to go around it at all. Perhaps they need to check the stamps in the passport against places listed on the application or they simply want to very something. If he has not done anything wrong nor has he misrepresented his travels, then he is fine. Just take it.

Good luck

The longer it takes to introduce yourself the less you've actually accomplished

but he has never travelled, we did use it when we went to the registry to marry but he made a new 1 for the interview because they use newer version now but all is the same. I say its a small thing eveything is the same name etc i just wonder may be when they went to process it they see the other passport was used.

I don't think it really matters what the reason is, they want to see both passports.

But how do they know he had an older passport, a lot of ppl hada previous passport. especially after they granted him approval of visa for next week to pick up. anyway we will do just what they ask .

thanks

Welcome aboard Star Gal.

Sounds like your man will be here soon. I have no ideal why Embassies do

what they do but I'm sure they want what they want. Good luck!
