Just over three months, seems California it really motoring at the moment while Vermont is still stuck in 2nd gear, come on Vermont!

I sent the I129-F packet on December 30, 2008. Can I post in this forum or is it too close to January for me to be here? They received it on 1/2/09 and the check was cashed today, 1/8/09. What number should I look for on the back of the check in order to check online? Thank you.

From Vermont? I've only seen the ones from California. I hope you're right. That would be even better!

Where I can only see 2 approvals??

Vermont is really dragging its heels, the CSC approved over 15 K1's just yesterday from people who filed in Sept, Oct and Nov. It has taken Vermont 7 days to process the same amount from people who filed in August. Not happy.

Eeek, not what I want to hear but what I feared was closer to the truth. Sadly, when I first started stalking these forums ages ago, I was excited to know that I'd be using VSC since it was incredibly faster than CSC. Not the case anymore.

I want to stomp my feet - or better yet, move!

With my luck, though, as soon as I'd move, VSC will pick up - haha

I was browsing forum posts the other day and saw someone post that a - this may sound ridiculous - a friend of his wife is a processor for VSC and that she assured him that VSC "just hired a lot of people." My irrationally optimistic thinking is that this fleet of new employees is currently being trained and pretty soon this new and incredible force of hungry adjudicators will be unleashed, making VSC the fastest K-1 processing plant the world has ever seen!!!

...granted, that is a lot of enthusiam just for some offhand quote I happened to come across, but I need to believe that this ridiculous slow down in Vermont is being addressed in some way and soon. Let's keep our fingers crossed!!
