Our appointment is October 5th.....so lonely being last.

Even if you're "last," isn't it great to have that date!! The day we got the date, I felt a bit weird. There was no longer any reason to keep calling asking about the status of our case. Now I just sit back & relax.

I did spend some time on the AOS paperwork. Some of the forms had expired since I first filled them out. The I-693 expires at the end of this month, but I haven't seen the next version posted yet...

On the 29th :) Soo excited I haven't seen him since December 08

:wow: Beans, that MUST've been hard to go that long without seeing your loved one! I've already made 4 trips to see mine this year, and will make one more to go to the interview. My hope is that his passport/visa will be ready in time for him to fly back with me.

(Rhetorical, as I'll check) Did you post an interview review? I love reading those.

lol It is super hard but somehow we made it through. Everyone at work is like "What the hell are you going to do in Maine" and (i'm sorry if this is too bold for some) but I was like "I'm going to pump!" lol But I'm just honest like that :|

Yeah I did post a review for the medical and interview. Both were relatively easy.

Thanks for the congrats!

BR_Joshua, I know you must be SUPER excited! We probably won't see you around for a while, but let us know that your love gets through the POE okay!

Haha true dat - Angela finally made it in on the 11th of july, she was scheduled for the 9th, but being that neither of us has done this before. well lets jus say that there was a issue with the seminar. Luckly she was able to take it later that day after being denied boarding. jus under two bills later and a couple hours in seminar and alot of panic she was booked for saturdays flight in july. it's august now, our wedding date is set for september 5th and things are moving along fine now. well other than trying to plan and pull off a wedding in short notice and low budget :( but im not complaning. Angela is here - were happy and things are falling into place. just yesterday her social security card arrived and as far as the wedding goes, the list of things to do is getting pretty short.

Im glad when i log'd on that i see everyones case moving forward and i wish the best for each and everyone of us. Good luck to you all and best of fortune of happyness find each an everyone one.

Grats Nat & cereza!!

Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Hello Everyone. Here is an update. My fiance arrived Aug. 27 POE Washington dulles Airport. It was an awesome moment, i ran up to him so fast i almost knocked his down  The process at the airport went really smooth they only asked him when is our wedding date and the officer joked and asked if he was invited. That same evening we went out with my family and his brother to old country buffet. I didn't waste no time introducing him to American food, he didn't eat much though but we had a good time. Everything else is going on really good, we've applied for his SSN and our wedding date is set for Oct. 4th. So time is moving pretty fast now. :luv:

I'll post some pictures after the wedding.

To all those that are still waiting for there SO arrival hang in there. The wait is all worth it in the end. :star:

My now husband entered the US in July we got married July 24 and are awaiting his EAD and AP at the AOS level. Our case for AOS has been transfered to the CSC so hopefully that means no interview and speedy green card :)

Good Luck on your wedding October 4th!! Our religious ceremony and reception is set for November 14, I am getting super excited for that :)
