Thats the only details i have of yet, i spoke with her for about 10 mins earlier tonight, i jus got off work and she is taking a nap right now. Poor thing only got a hour before the interview, when i called to make sure she woke up for it - it didn't even sound like she had made it to sleep

But FINALLY, the hard part is over with!!

Update.... Well I'm excited too. After plenty tries of calling the freetown embassy, and being transfered to answering services, none working numbers and people that just take a message and say i'll be contacted. By the grace of God i was finally able to talk to the right people and it literally took only 10 minutes for him to look up the schedule on the computer, take my case number and boom i was assigned and interview date Monday 6/29. Well i'm not even gonna ask question of what have been taking them this long. We are so ready !!

Thank yall, apperciate everyone whose been here for Angela and I. Its nice finally havin the weight lifted off our shoulders and our destiny in our own hands. I am so excited i can't wait till shes here. One thing i have noticed is that the flights one way arn't the same available round trip. At the medical exam they asked her what POE we were planning on useing - we said Dallas - now it looks like either Houston or New Orleans will be better choices. Does it matter which we pick? Is it set in stone now that she answered Dallas in the medical exam.

My personal preference is to fly into the airport where I live to avoid the layover. But if you'll be flying with her, then neither of you may mind going through customs then rechecking luggage & catching another flight.

INTERVIEW WENT GREAT !!! VISA APPROVED.........

Woo hooo, Thank you Jesus. Wow, i can't believe it's finally here. Hey everyone my fiance's visa was approved at Freetown embassy. He said everything went so smooth it didn't even feel like an interview him and the consular officer were just having a normal conversation. He didn't even ask alot of specific questions. All he asked my fiance was how did we meet ? What did we do when i visited ? where was this or that picture taken at? How many kids we wanted to have ? They both laughed about that and my fiance mentioned that we have a debate right now cuz i want my first to be a girl and he wants a boy. So the officer laughed with him. Then he asked to see the rest of our pictures, and only looked at 4 out of like 20 pictures. One of the pictures i took was with my fiance's sister and the officer recognized that. The officer didn't even take the rest of our phone calls and emails my fiance took to the interview. He took my affidavit of support and the rest of my financial info.

I just want to thank everyone here that's been going through this journey with me. You all have been very supportive. Thank you so much. I wish you the best in the rest of your visa journey.

WooHoo! Congratulations JIM & A.D

I received my visa yesterday...it was the greatest birthday gift I could ever have received.

The consular officer thought he was real funny when he called me to the window and said "Im sorry, it still hasnt arrived yet" (bearing in mind I was told it would have been ready for collection last Thursday already) I didnt know if I should laugh or cry at that moment. He then slowly brought my passport out from under the counter, opened to the page where my visa was, started giggling and said "It's all yours, what date are you leaving"

YEAH!!! Congratulations!!!!! My interview is next Wednesday Leaving this Friday for Montreal, nice long holiday weekend and immigration interview at the end of it
