UPDATE UPDATE.........

I guess giving NVC a hard time paid off.......well maybe not, the ride isn't over yet, but at least the AP in NVC is. I was told today that it had been released on Friday, 6/19/09 from NVC. I went to tracking on the 19th, but there was no pickup for Rio. I did check for pick up on Monday, and by-golly, there was one there........hmmmm could that be mine? Funny thing is, I did call on Friday and was told to call in a week and they would be able to check on a cep change (like zip code here in the states)...... guess maybe my luck is changing, or at least I hope so.

Hang in there guys.... I know it's tough. I'm still here rooting for your 2-NOA's........ Hope they all come soon.

Joshua, I wish you the best of luck. I had the same fears. I literally made like $400 over the poverty line for a family of 6, which we are. I was terrified. Also, last year I made just under it & when you look at my taxes, I had so much other stuff taken out that reduced my taxable income that it looked scary as hell. I didn't think we were going to make it.

You know what? They didn't even look at my proof! I couldn't believe it lol.

I hope you get the same kind of luck :)

Thank you, i hope so too, tomorrow is the BIG day, i don't know anything else we can do. Every document is completed, all information is correct and filled in. Angela and I have been over everything mutiple times. Only thing left is interview, still have a serious case of the butter flies though, we both do.

Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Good for you, kcrand! One more step down.

Thanks, any word on your NOA 2?

the 2 touch's and nothing?

Nothing. The word from USCIS today was that my case was assigned "recently" and to give it 60 days!!  Different from last week's word that my case was assigned on June 3 and give it 30 days.

I did get a very nice & empathetic woman from customer service (Tabitha), and she followed my logic that if on April 30 they were processing November 25 cases, then by May 30 they were on December 25, which puts me out of processing time. However, the system wouldn't let her say that I'm out of the time because even though November 25 was as of April 30, that's the last date in the system. So I'd have to wait until the system is updated to say something else before she could do anything.

Tomorrow I'll call my senators and congressman. Of the three of them, hopefully at least one will do something. Last cycle I contacted all three of them and only one did anything.

Perhaps one of those touches was a response to my senator's request for info, so his office may have some news for me tomorrow or the next day. Or perhaps one was a response to the formal service request the person at the Infopass appointment submitted on my behalf. All speculation.
