That's what I've thought all 3,000,003 times I checked Igor's list today.

There is an Oct filer from VSC who received it according to the post, but they didn't update the timeline. There is one Dec filer from a few days ago who received it, and still no update on timeline. So the numbers are smaller than Igor's would indicate. Not that I ever check.....

Im back from visiting my baby, wow is el nido so friggen beautiful... if yall ever get a chance to go to the philippines hit up palawan - wow. needless to say the trip was great and my only regret was it was not long enough and the part were i had to leave sucked. but other than it only being a week long and having to leave was great. i got lucky on my flight too, was either placed on a exit row or row 20 (aa 777 flight 60 & 61) so no complaints on that front.

anyways it truely was awesome - if anyone has ever wanted to go island hoping - go to el nido - the resorts there have 3 different standard packages - all of them are to die for.

but still no touches on our application, its getting frustrating having to sing the same ole song to my baby - maybe tomorrow will be the day. csc is rocken away while vsc sleeps the days away - what gives - when i first started - vsc was the ticket!

grats to those approved already - i jus wished it was my turn to post on that subject... i guess tomorrow may be our day.

Just called NVC. They received my case yesterday and its already on its way to Bogota now! We're super psyched!

Sometimes a handful of people who get approved don't update for a week or so. OR, my hope is that VSC has been forgetting to update the online status (which sends the email), so one of these days I'll receive my NOA2 in the mail, despite no status update at the USCIS website.

Received notice from NVC today that packet was sent on 14th April. Ive just tracked it with DHL and it arrived in South Africa about 2 hours ago.

I found this info on another thread which helped a great deal. Our notice said 14 April, but I had to put 13 April in to find it. Luckily there are so few filers from South Africa, it was quite easy for me to find ours.

Here is the tracking information that has been posted:

The State Dept uses DHL to ship their packages. Once you confirm the date that the I-129F was sent, you can go on the DHL website to approximately track your case. There are forums here talking about it but I'll sum it up below.

1. Go to: http://www.dhl.com/

2. Select track by Reference, enter the info as follows:

EXP DD MMM YYYYA

EXP is constant

DD is the day the NVC said they shipped the case.

MMM is the three letters representing the month the NVC shipped the case

YYYY is the year the NVC shipped the case

A is constant

For example, if the NVC says they shipped the case on February 5 2009, this would be entered as "EXP 05 FEB 2009A".

3. Date range for shipment - From: Enter the date of the day NVC said they sent the case

4. Date range for shipment - To: Enter todays date

5. Once you enter the info, press "Start Tracking"

6. You will see a result page with a number of packages going out to different consulates/embassies. Look for your consulate/Embassy.
