Xaenyth, I checked the uscis site yesterday morning and there was no update on my case. So i checked my email this morning when i was at work and i saw my approval email from CRIS it was sent to my mailbox yesterday at 7:01pm. When i logged on to the uscis site today i have a touched date of 3/18/09.

Oh and in other news I passed my driving test today. So important for me when I'm in America. I don't really need it here, but thought I should get it done before I move 'across the pond'.

Congrats on passing the test, so many people in the USA will blow it off and say it's not a big thing but it is for us UK types, I passed mine just over 9 months ago. Word of advice - look up the DMV of the state you're moving to. Some states (NC in my case) will let tourists without intent to migrate drive on their own foreign license (in our case, the card and paper counterpart, with or without the International Drivers Permit), but you cannot use it if you intent to become a resident and must take the local test and get a local license before you can drive there. Bummer for me.

Thanks guys (and BL2B)! Yeah I'm going to check out what the case is in Virginia. But I've been assured that the test in the US is a LOT easier than it is over here. I've just got to learn how to do everything the wrong way round!

To answer the other question by maria teresa, since we started the visa process my fiance has visited me twice and will come over again in May. So it'll be 3 visits in total. Since he moved back to the States in July 2008 I visited 3 times. We are lucky that we can get the time off work and afford to travel. I think it would be unfair for USCIS to expect everyone to be able to do so many visits though.

I just wanted to let out some EXCITEMENT about December's applications already starting to get NOA2!

THIS IS SOOOO COOOL! Gosh, now I actually have to worry - Am I done with the things I wanted to do??? I really should start looking into moving companies now

And I need to loose 2,5 pounds and find a wedding dress!!!!!!!

Please pinch me someone - a dream is about to come truuuee!

No, no touches yet argh....but, my fiance just got through customs and is on the train on his way here from JFK!!!!! I was terrified! I didn't think they would let him in because last time he was here almost 6 months and even though he was still legal, no overstay (he had a 6 month stamp) I was SO SO SO scared between that, all the visits, and the pending K1, that he wouldn't get in. They let him in easy peasy! He said it was easier then last time! WOW. 4 more hours and he'll be here. WOO FREAKING HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Yup December approvals have started slowly coming in, hopefully next week the VSC will kick out more approvals for us, there was not much movement this week

Hello Everyone !! I didn't see any thread for Vermont December K-1 Filers, so I'll like to start one so we can keep track of our progress. Anyone out there that have mailed out their I-129F package, waiting for their check to be cashed or NOA1. I would love to hear from you all.

hello everyone..i was new here but i am december filers too.we got our NOA1 last december 1,2008.and i keep checking to our case online.it said that on March 13,2009 they approved our petition for fiancee visa and they send on mail but till now we dont get the hardcopy of NOA2.anyone knows about it.thanks
