What i do is select option 1 (that I don;t know what form I need) and then a live person comes on the phone. Then I just explain my question!

My fiance's visit is over so the obsessive checking of vj continues in earnest again! :clock:

Hope everyone is bearing up ok.

I obsessively check this site about 3 times a day. I will be glad when I stop doing that!! LOL! Looks like we are right around the corner, seems VSC is working on November petitions and I saw a December filer was approved so our time is coming!!

Option 1 on which menu? It's so freakin annoying. Nothing applies to my question and there's no option for live representative....

Ok, USCIS are cracking me up!

I called to check on my issue about them not cashing my cheque and a very polite man told me everything is fine and nothing to worry about. So it seems like this is gonna be a free ride for me LOL

We're still about :) Looking like end of March/beginning of April when December filers start to get approvals. We have both been very busy recently with work but we've also been looking up documents required for Packet 3 and the interview.

Very much looking forward to Wednesday, Christy is due to come over to the UK for her Birthday and is flying into Manchester, so we will have a good 10 days together, enjoy ourselves and remain updated on the latest proceedings.

That reminds me, I will have to update our signature for her visit.

Wow. That would be fantastic (for you) if they never cash it.

I had a similar experience a few months ago. I went to pay rent and asked how much. The amount she told me was over $600 less than it should've been. I checked with the leasing office three times about this, but no one ever knew exactly why that happened. Fortunately, no one ever charged me either.... so extra $600+ for me!

Haha don't you just love it when stuff like that happens?

I still have the feeling they will catch up on their mistake but I won't mind saving myself 450 bucks

I just don't want bad karma....

Hope you two have real fun Jim, great that Christy's going to be coming here as the flights usually land early morning and you'll have the full day together.

Don't worry about the #. I started from 424 or something. The weird thing is when you drop down because of new members joining in. I have seen people with #250 and more being approved so the position doesn't really matter that much. As long as we are approved I wouldn't care even if I am at #1000

Does anyone else think that VJ's new forum layout (with the response tree broken down at the bottom rather than the full thread) is terrible? Its makes it impossible to read the thread like a conversation or discussion and just ends up separating the replies, bastardizing the comments from the context. ....not happy....

Yeah I'm with you there. I also wonder how many people are no longer active and haven't updated their timeline. But I'm doubtful on that cos vj is addictive! Just got off the phone to my fiance and he informed me that our NOA1 date is actually 5 days earlier than I thought. We must have been 'touched' on the date I thought was our NOA. So that's 5 days of waiting that have already passed and I didn't notice! :P

Not sure what you're talking about. I haven't noticed a change. I think there are forum settings you can adjust.
