Hi, everyone!

I'm excited that my estimated date for adjudication has gone down. At one point it told me July, so glad to see May - June.

Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between May 30, 2009 and June 11, 2009*.

It's an awesome feeling to see those dates getting closer and closer. I'm working around my timeline dates (if all goes well and no RFE) and if you look at others that have had a 'smooth' journey, you can take off about another 30 days. Lets hold thumbs that we're all approved by end April.

hallo! im from the january 09 vsc filers. may i just know where can i find all the adjudication dates? ive ben searching and searching but seem to not find it. noa1 dated januay 23. thanks so much and let us all have a good waiting!

You can find this out by going into your profile and clicking on "My Timeline" or you can just click this link via the message board My Timeline

Then at the bottom of the page it gives you your estimated date for adjudication.

And another one planning a visit, hope to go over end of April, start of May.

Thought we get things going already at the school my son will attend when we get our visa's :)

Am I crazy? I am already selling stuff I don't want to bring, ordered the airkennels for my dogs, just so that I won't have to do everything at once.

And for the feeling of actually doing something instead of sitting on my butt and get older every day...

nah i don't think so - im doing similar stuff - but im not selling - i hafta buy some furniture dressers and stuff like that. Ohh and pick up stuff i had loaned out to different relatives because i didn't need it and didn't feel like moving it. Anyways a pure vacation is needed - i been working so much lately and i need a break.

I was wondering if anyone else thinks with the economy being the way it is, do yall think it will have a postive effect on processing times? being more people are likely to put off going on a visa journey because of how things are now?

Possibly, but I don't think that will affect those who've already submitted their paperwork. We're already in the looooong line.

I'm going to be selling as much as possible, with the cost of shipping from SA to the US it's just not worth taking everything with me. We'll rather just take the money and buy new things together for our new home, and what's left can go to charity... my farewell gift to my country ;)

I've seen a couple of postings where people are wanting to put a hold on the process due to the economy being the way it is. It's a scarey thought, but we have to be positive about it. There's no way we would pull out now, we're already 60+ days down the line. I'll be living on water and love for the next year :luv:

Yeah I don't think it's going to have much of an impact on us lot. Maybe put people off who were thinking of applying in the future, or people applying for work visas etc.

I've been having a clear out too and am slowly sending stuff over each time my fiance comes to visit. He comes again this weekend, so I've already looked out some things I can do without for a while... :)

I've also noticed that the "guestimated" dates on my timeline have come down by about 5 days. 5 days is 5 days so I'll take it :clock:

I also plan to visit my fiance "soon." I won't say when because it will be a surprise!

I told him that one day we'll be on the phone and he'll feel a tap on his shoulder. He said that I'd better be ready to catch him if that happens.

the $455 fee is for the I-129F application and it is different from the visa fee in Manila.. if i'm not mistaken the visa fee in manila amounts to $131 which will be paid after I-129F is approved..

I have a question? is the money we spent for the K-1 visa application also the same 400$ for the visa fee in manila?

$455 is the USCIS processing fee

$131 is the non refundable visa fee.

The application fee for a K1 or K2 nonimmigrant visa is US$131, payable only in Philippine pesos at the prevailing exchange rate. The fee should be paid by each applicant at designated branches of Banco de Oro (BDO) within Metro Manila and other key cities in the Philippines. For a complete list of branches currently accepting payment, visit BDO’s web site at http://www.bdo.com.ph/Promos/US_payment.htm. Citibank’s corporate center branch at Paseo de Roxas, Makati City will continue to accept payment. The bank will validate your payment on the DS-156 Nonimmigrant Visa Application Form or on the DS-157 Supplemental Nonimmigrant Visa Application Form. The payment is valid for one (1) year.
