"An explanation or other evidence showing the circumstances that warrant issuance of an advance parole document" this is one of the requirements for form I-131 but i just dont understand what it means. someone here in VJ answered me saying just a short statement that my husband may want to travel during the process. but can anyone be more clear. thanks!

In other words they're asking "tell us exactly why you need an AP while your I-485 is approved". So then what you have to do is just say that you want to have it just in case you need to travel while waiting for approval. It's as simple as that. You also don't have to give them exact dates of when you want to travel since most people don't know.

so what would i put on nthe box that asks the date? and that statement to i just type it up on a different sheet of paper. just that sentence. its kind of weird, no? so i just put that statement and thats it? no format? just want to be clear thanks
