About to file my AOS package that includes the following forms:

1) I-485 + supporting docs

Including:

a. I-864 + supporting docs

b. G-325A

c. I-693 (sealed)

2) I-130 + supporting docs

Including:

a. G325As for both

3) I-131 + supporting docs

4) I-765 + supporting docs (including copy of I-94)

Does anyone have any tips on how they organized this huge mess of forms + supporting evidence docs before they mailed it off? I mean do I just shove everything into the envelope, separate everything into folders, label evidence + forms with stick-it notes etc....? Any ideas???

use paper clips for each form including evidence..

if u need to add small notes just clip it..

then put in them a big envelope..

that's what we did in K1 and AOS..

Thanks for your response... I read something on here and on USCIS web-site about ACCO fasteners (whatever they are, I had to google it lol). So I guess I'll try to use those. It's going to be a pretty hefty package, is it even going to fit in USPS envelope???

not sure abt the usps envelope but..

we used a white envelope bigger than bond paper for the whole AOS packet..

put it inside a bubble mailer or what they call padded envelope..

then sent it to UPS.. ;)

I used paper clips to attach the necessary documents. Just try to put everything in one envelope size 9 1/2 x 11 and when you get to USPS, just used one of their envelopes size 10 x 13.

"Have faith in God, Jesus answered. I'll tell you the truth. if anyone says to this mountain, Go, throw yourself to the sea, and that does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen. it will be done for him. Therefore I'll tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours" (MARK 11:22-24)

LOL Yeah I saw a different post on USCIS web-site that said to USE ACCO fasteners... :) I guess just another example of them contradicting themselves...

But thanks... I think I will use paper clips instead.

I put everything together in a folder and send it as a package. I had diffrent sections for each form with front letters . I put every document in a sleeve and labeled it.

Yep, I saw those too. Maybe the difference is the ACCO tip is for filing at the the service centers...K1, K3, etc. petitions. The other says Tips for Filing Petitions and Applications to the National Benefits Center which is AOS/EAD/AP.

For AOS/EAD/AP I paper clipped each set separately and mailed in a USPS Priority mail (cardboard like) mailer. Within those separate applications, if there were parts that went together, I used staples (like the Affidavit of Support, tax forms, employer letter were stapled as a unit)

What we did was using seperate file folders for each application (EAD/AOS/AP) and put the documents in there and everything that needs to be close together in those files were attached to each other by paperclips. I thought it to be a very nice and organized way like this. For shipping we used a very large bubble envelope from Walmart.
