IMO you do. Because it is a baby if it is fertilized. If the statistic stated before is true-so 75% of women have miscarried this way, than ok. I believe (provided the woman isn't on a chemical birth control that can cause a miscarriage) that God deceided it wasn't time to have a baby. That must be in his plan.

It's not that 75% of women have miscarried that way. It's just that there's no way to know how many fertilized eggs make it to implantation. Educated guesses say that it's possible that 75% of fertilized eggs don't make it to implantation, but that's not written in stone or anything.

Fair enough, then, ace13. Although I suspect that women who've had later-term miscarriages will disagree with you.

FWIW, I do wonder if it's not worth asking why her husband didn't have a vasectomy.

And I don't think that some of her words were well-chosen.

But I don't disagree with the premise that political motivations, rather than concerns for women's well-being, keep Plan B unavailable over-the-counter in the States.
