Hello,

I've filed I-751 with my wife in early November. I got the letter of extention, but no appointment for biometrics yet.

We had several problems that led to endless arguments, and she wanted some time off.

I had to look for a new place to live, and new landlord required my name to be taken off from the previous lease (copy of this lease was sent as an evidence since it had both my name and my wife's name on it). I did that about a week ago, having no other choice at the time. Now I'm living alone in a place 20 minutes away from her.

My first question is would this be a problem if Immigration officer contacts my previous landlord to confirm the evidences? She still lives in the place with only her name on the lease.

I really want to continue our marriage, but it looks like she is thinking about divorce. She has been very cooperative up to this point, but I'm not sure if she will stay that way. I asked her several times for marriage counseling, but she kept refusing. All I can do now is to give her some time off as she wants. Seperated, possibility of divorce... I really don't know what is the best thing to do in this case. Should I just return to my home country if she demands divorce? I really don't have anyone to talk to on these issues, so I am asking for your advice.

Thank you in advance.

A few things.

Greencard holder and Sponsor need to keep USCIS updated as to resident addresses, Green-card holder files AR-11 anytime they move, US Citizen Sponsor files I-865. So USCIS will know something has changed.

The I-751 was filed jointly, and couple's marital status has not changed (Divorce or Annulment), though they may interview to verify that the condition that couple are still in a bona fide marital relationship.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.
