AOS/EAD/AP filing questions, please help!

Filed: Lift. Cond. (pnd) Country: China
Timeline

My girlfriend will be a USC before next Fed,2009. After that we will get married. To file AOS/EAD/AP, do you guys go through a laywer or do it by yourself?

the form we need to file are I-485, I-130 and ?

7/15 - Package was delivered at 11am

7/15 - Date of NOA

7/19 - Check was cashed

7/19 - NOA letter was received

7/28 - Biometrics letter received, date- 8/23/2011

8/01 - Early Biometric was done

11/15 - Card Production ordered

11/19 - 10 years Green Card arrived.

Look at the menu bar at the top of the page and click the word that says Guides. That will give you some step by step information.

A lawyer is not necessary. :no: Most of us did it ourselves, by studying the Guides as mentioned above, and reading lots of posts on this site. Seems that many people who did it through lawyers had lots of delays and messed up applications!

July 23, 2010: NOA Notice date
Oct 15, 2010: Citizenship Interview - Passed!
Nov 15, 2010: Oath Ceremony in Fresno, CA
Nov 24, 2010: Did SSN and Applied for Passport
Dec 6, 2010: Passport Arrives
Dec 7, 2010: Sent for Indian Passport Surrender Certificate
Dec 27, 2010: Surrender Certificate Arrives
Jan 3, 2011: Sent for Overseas Citizenship of India Card
March 1, 2011: Received OCI card!

I see other people's timelines, it shows "AOS/EAD/AP sent", does this mean AOS=I-130, I-485 ; EAD=I-765; AP=I-131. Do you put all applications and checks together?
