Senator's response to my inquiry

My Senator's office called today to say that they made an inquiry into my case. The only thing they could tell me is that it is in California and that I should expect another 30-60 days processing. When I pressed further on the whole form/questionnaire issue she said they told her nothing about this. When I explained that this is probably the most important question to get answered, she said she will inquire again in 2 weeks and at that time, if they mention the form, she will ask for more information.

I don't think the woman from the Senator's office was trying to give me the runaround - she just seems to be very calm and laidback and thinks that this stuff is normal for USCIS and that there is no way she is going to get a straight answer from them until they are ready to give it - which is probably 100% correct.

Not sure what to believe at this point - I guess if I got a form in the mail asking for my criminal background information, then I would be fine with the 30 day quote.

When I contacted my congressman I got the same response-I must say though-it made me feel better to know that they told him the SAME thing they told me. I did receive a letter from VSC telling me the case was still being processed & it could take another 6 months-it didn't. We gout our noa2 about a month after the letter. I don't think you are getting the run-around. I am sure you will hear something soon
