I love Christmas! We have such a large family and most of them are in the medical field so they have to work or are on call on Christmas day. We usually don't even celebrate Christmas on Christmas day. There's so many of us that we'd spend a fortune on presents if we bought one for everyone. We buy the 3 little kids presents and then we draw names and get a present for one adult. It works out pretty well and we have loads of fun.

Life is a ticket to the greatest show on earth.

Food, booze and prezzies, lights, candles, cold weather, decorations, gingerbread, advent calendars, christmas songs! :dance: What's not to like, seriously?

I agree with you Ms.Squirrel,I love christmas too.Its doesn't matter u cant give a gift to your family as long as your presence is thier.Thats the most important,the whole family will be together.We both know that sometimes our christmas cold i mean lonely cuz we are far from our family,love ones but thats not the reason we hate christmas.Here in the philippines when the sounds BER mean christmas is coming like september,october and so on..its really exciting.Its better to spend the money on christmas like food,decoration,candles than wasting money in useless.

I love Christmas but the last few years have been rough so my love of Christmas has waned a little bit...

usually by now I would have a freezer full of Christmas baking .. I guess I have to do some next week sometime..

I adore Christmas! Baking cookies with my mom, decorating the tree, opening up the advent calender, midnight Church, egg nog, the Charlie Brown Christmas Special, Christmas morning, roasting marshmellows over the fireplace, Annual Christmas Party, Winter market in Union Square, lighting the tree at Rockafeller, luminaries, driving around to see the lights is what I look forward to all year.

This year I'm spending Christmas in Albania with my husband.

I'll love being with him but Albania is a Muslim nation so none of the fun Christmas stuff I'm used to will be there.

I LUV Christmas cuz I spent half my life not celebrating it!LOL! Cuz I am a Hebrew! My husband is Catholic, so last year we went to "Nochebuena" (Pilipino Christmas Eve) What I like most about Christmas is the food and drinking hehehe! This year we plan to go to my brothers house his spouse is Greek so we are gonna try some new foods! My husband is starting to get into the Jewish thing he got some Hanukkah cds, put on his "beanie" and started practicing his singing and dancing ! heheh ! Cheers!
