YMMV

As stated - I can not imagine there is a copy of it anywhere although you may have copies of much of what was in it.

Contact the bus company;

Contact the US Embassy;

You had better try harder - and persistantly; this is not a 'called, left a message' kind of situation.

The OP didn't mention losing her passport - but the 'brown envelope' that would be given to CBP at her POE.

I think she should go immediatly to the US embassy... there have got to be copies of alot of the stuff somewhere and then she can find out what to do from there.. I thnk contacting the embassy AMERICAN is the only thing she can do

Definitely contact the US Embassy. Also, don't just call the bus company but go to their office. I hope no one (passenger) picked it up on the bus, then it would be unlikely that you will get hold of the packet again.

If your'e in HK they usually dropped all items found anywhere at the mail boxes..but since you dont live in HK i suggest you to go to the police station and seek help as soon as you can as they can locate your documents for you...Good luck...

Lord,help us to remember when we first met,and the strong love that grew between us.

To work the love into practical things so nothing can divide us

Grant us a Love that grows stronger with each passing year.

Go to the bus company, go to their office. Dont just call. You need to talk to someone to trace the route of your bus. Do it now.

I forgot my luggage in a bus in japan, though different country, the main learning is that talking to someone who works on the bus company helped in tracing the location of my luggage.

This is so unfortunate! I hope you found it. Hopefully you know the bus number. MOVE NOW and do what the people here are suggesting.

A lesson learned to all... don't be careless for this important document because we all have waited century for this small piece of envelop just to be reunited with the one we love.

Good luck!

Go to the bus company

Go to the US Embassy there in Hongkong and make a report.

Go to the Police Office to make a report

Don't call , be there in person.

I hope you also brought with you papers from your K1 petition ( NOA1 and 2) , xerox copy of your appointment letter, ANY document from the USCIS that would support your packet.

This is a very unfortunate thing but also a lesson to those who are making long stop-overs before coming here. . please don't bring your visa packet when sight seeing , leave it in the hotel where it is safe.

Hope you find it the soonest!

Removal of Conditions :

August 16, 2010 - Petition received by USCIS Vermont Center

August 20, 2010 - NOA1 received

October 4, 2010 - Biometrics

January 3, 2011 - Permanent 10 yr. Green Card Received.
