Hello All,

Could someone help us? I will be entering in the US through MIA but my fiancée wants to take me to Puerto Rico for a few days...Can I enter in the US with a K-1 Visa through MIA and the next week go to Puerto Rico? Will have any problems? Do you think it will be better not to travel with him?

Hi -

Should not be a problem - Puerto Rico is considered domestic travel

You will need to show ID to get thru security

However DO NOT go from PR to one of the US Virgin Islands

as you would have to enter US Customs, Not good on a K1 Visa.

Enjoy! Lived in Lauderdale and worked in Miami for years.

Interview was quick and easy (less than 8 mins)...but I recommend to have all docs available because you never know when any doc may be requested....I love Caraguatatuba, Ubatuba, Sao Sebastiao, Ilhabela!!! Hope the interview goes well....
