We were watching True Blood every Sunday night until the Season ended. I'd recommend seeing the reruns or rent it when it's available. :) I think you'd like it.

someone else told me to watch that show too. i didn't like shows like buffy or angel...anything like that?

Worlds apart. The setting is in rural town in Louisiana and the story centers around Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) who's a waitress at a local bar. A Japanese scientist developed a synthetic blood, which allows vampires to come out in the open since they no longer need to feed on humans - although some humans volunteer to be fed upon. The vampires want to be accepted into society and be given the same rights afforded to humans. It's another award winning show from HBO, IMO - great cast - solid acting, and they can go places and show things that could never be done on regular TV.

I'll try to watch the first episode if it's on HBO on demand tonight. I'll let you know what I think1

Ok...although, it's best not to go into it with any expectations (good or bad). :)

it might be bad that I started to watch the season finale last weekend

Life is a ticket to the greatest show on earth.

I'm not in in the evenings very often so I tend to watch series on DVD.

Current faves are Dexter and 30 Rock.

I do like:

House

Bones

CSI: Vegas (don't like NY or Miami)

Lost

2 and a half men

Loads of others that I can't remember. :P

I want to see Californication, mainly cause David Duchovny is in it and he's fabulous.

I liked JAG, was like a fairy tale of military justice with super attorneys that would kill themselves trying to learn the truth. But it's off the air and never did see the closing episode. Really no favorites now, got sick of watching sports and what really was the straw that broke the Camels back is when our state added a 1/2% to the sales tax to help support the Brewers and Packers, that was too much with guys earning millions per year.

Learned my wife goes nuts over soccer when it's on, never saw a woman so interested in a sport, she's fun to watch when watching, gets all excited.

hmm, not sure if they are going to wait till the 4th season is over though... they split the 4th season in half and the second half airs in February or something..

ok never mind it looks like they are going to release the first half on DVD in January...

it looks likes you'll be getting 4 whole discs full of behind the scenes goodies including all of the Razor flashback minisodes, when the set comes out January 6.

Hubby got me into watching the Unit and NCIS and I am really enjoying them. I love Criminal Minds, hubby leaves the room when it comes on. And my guilty pleasure is that I absolutely love Supernatural (yes I am a teenager at heart).

No, but after watching the show, I thought about it. :) The producer of the show, Alan Ball, has made it clear that his show will not follow the books....he wants to make it his own. Some fans of the book are upset by that, but I think he's being smart as some things don't quite work out well in films the way they do in books.

I loved Six Feet Under from HBO. I wish it was still on. :crying:

But given the last show, there's not much more tell. sigh.
