Ok, my husband had his 2nd interview schedule today after being on AP since July. When he arrived at the Embassy they said we are closed for Muslim Holiday and to come back on Wednesday.

Another VJ member husband was with him at the time and had an interview too. She sent me an email stating that DOS seen that his interview was rescheduled for Dec 22nd. So I called the DOS, which stated my husband's appointment was on Dec 29th. AAAUUURRCGGGGhhh

When I started nagging him about mismanagement he said. "Well I should let you know that the appointment is an open appointment and he can go any day at the scheduled time.

Any views on his statement. This embassy is obviously a difficult embassy to boot.

I also wondered your opinion on the point that it was an "open" appointment. Since we were on AP, that sounds like good news to me.

Thank you in advance for your time and opinion in this matter.

best regards,

Missy

Hmm, I would have him go on Wednesday and see what happens.

I have never heard of an open appointment for a second interview in Lagos. I know that there are days where you can go and drop off documents, but not for an actual interview.

This is

Thanks Zee Bee, Yes this is madness. I have been so patient through this procces. To have him turned away because Embassy is closed. Crazy stuff. I can deal with the process, but missmanagment drives me crazy. Nothing a callender wouldn't hurt. I am sure they remember they have the day off..or do they?

Anyways. Thanks

I will keep bumping through the day to get more opinions on this.
