Good morning everbody!!!

My husband drove by himself today for the first time and made it home ok. He dropped me off to work and went to the mosque to pray. I was sick to my stomach over him being out by himself. I think we are going out alone for dinner tonight.

Staashi, sorry about your tooth, hope you feel better, my hubby has had this one tooth aggravate him on and off for the last couple years I think, I wonder how much longer it will mind itself before a serious dental appt is needed.

We are still waiting for his welcome letter and greencard after a little over 3 weeks he has been here...but like all things on this journey....JUST WAITING

I am looking forward to starting my Christmas shopping later this week after payday...gonna have a little fun and get hubby accustomed to the annual Christmas traditions and madness

We have enjoyed riding around checking out everyone's christmas lights

Jeanne...you're too cute....actually the truth is you could probably see our house if I allowed him to hook up all the lights and animated creatures he wants in the front of our house!

HLM...I will take a pic this week! He complained he's not done...so we will see...I'm afraid our home will "glow" and be seen from space!

I'm off to do my dirty deeds... I think I found 2 other jobs though for two of my staff...so I feel a bit better. I'm sure the holidays are not good for so many around our country. I pray things get better soon.

I hear ya on the lay offs...TCF just laid off all our Area Managers, Business Bankers, and Investment specialists. They had to cut 2 million in payroll and thats how they did it. Thank god I have security where I am in the bank.

I need to go to jewel and get some fruit and veggies ...I think Ill wait for daddy to get home so I dont have to take zaid along.
