HIV test for medical exam

why asked here? go get your phone start calling doctors or laboratory clinic like in Cebu City we have Hi-Precission Clinic thats do HIV test and everything...then you don't have to go in this forum and asked from people here. I myself is paranoid too so scare of any diseases, I don't even go to the restaurant without using my own spoon/fork.

I believe she needs the moral support of fellow VJs in order allay her fears.

Thank you so much Jose. I appreciate all the support that you're giving. All the positive feedback from fellow VJ's a big help for me. For now, I will stop thinking about it and stop reading all the articles on the net. It's increasing my anxiety. I will still do the test as it will make me more at peace. I received the result of the test and it is NEGATIVE! you heard it right. lol. It was an anxiety that I experienced from reading and watching all those stuffs but it is a good thing that I did the test and now have the answer.

I think she oulined her reasons earlier in the thread. Not everyone who has a HIV test is or has been in the sex industry.

I guess talcoolone did not know that HIV test is a requirement of the US embassy and that his fiance underwent the test too.

I don't think it is right for him to accused someone who wants to get tested for HIV! With his age and knowing that he lives in USA how come he was not aware of the disease. Where millions of people are positive and not all them are in the sex industry.

If you had bothered to read the postings here, you would know why the original poster wants to have an HIV test.

Just for the record...there are many reasons why someone would want the peace of mind that is offered by an HIV test. None of them necessarily have anything to do with the sex trade industry. They may be a healthcare worker who may have been exposed...they may have been the unknowing victim of an infected blood transfusion...they may have been the victim of rape...they may have had a single act of unprotected sex...and this includes sex with their current partner. Has the US-citizen-half of your partnership been tested?

Also, why does it matter whether someone has been to the Philippines...or not...in order to have a voice on this thread about this topic? Everyone is welcome here. Concerns about HIV are a worldwide issue.

The insensitivity of your remarks is breathtaking...but after having read some of your other postings...not surprising.
