Hello all,

I received the interview paper work today (interview Jan 20th Tokyo) and the packet is directing me to the "Interview Preparation" web page click here. and my question is do I bring all this information to the interview even though I sent this to NVC?

I understand bringing the Medical check up, my passport style photos and my Passport. But what about the birth certificate and other items listed on the web page?

What did you bring to your interview in Tokyo to the American Embassy?

Machiko.

David, you should have received a checklist in the packet of what they still require from you and you should bring. It will say what they already have and what they still need from you. If you did not receive it, check with your spouse if it was in their packet. If you already submitted originals to NVC, you would not need to bring them to the interview.

Ditto, if you already sent all that stuff to the NVC, you don't need to take it to the embassy the day of the interview. You should however bring copies just in case they weren't careful enough and the packet is missing a document you had already sent them. It's just a precaution.
