I don't wish anarchy; I realize that society needs to be policed in order to function.

But seriously- what kind of jackass wants to become a cop? Dudes with chips on their shoulders because they never got invited to parties in high school and couldn't get laid, my guess.

It's from the same group that become Firemen, Doctors, and Lawyers.

Some of them do it because it's a dream from childhood. Some of them do it because they want to prove they're better than others.

Some of them do it because they want to help people, and some of them do it simply because it's a job.

Sadly, there are a lot of jerks that didn't get invited to the parties in high school, but they're still the minority.

Of course it sounds like THIS guy is their spokesperson.

The guy was in the Marine Corps before he became a cop; he's generally been a nice guy, but this whole situation has been sh*tty.

In any case;

From what I can tell, it seems like she'll have nothing to worry about. She's not the sharpest tool in the shed though, but if she really wants to stay out of trouble, she should stop contacting him.
