Do you have to give up your foreign passport?

When you go for your oath, do you have to give up your foreign passport? Are you allowed to have 2 passports? Ex: Canada & Usa?

As a Canadian, you can have USA passport AND a Cdn one! You do NOT loose your CDN citizenship! When u come back into the USA, you must use the USA passport.

Do you have to turn your current passport in when you take your oath, I know uscis makes you give up your greencard at the ceremony, will they ask for your current passport then?

The Canadian passport is YOURS to keep forever and ever. After you become a USA citizen it is YOUR choice if you want to keep a valid Canadian passport or not, the USA is not going to take it away from you. Yes they take your greencard, as ur no longer a permanent resident, ur a citizen! Your still a Canadian citizen, so ur entitled to a Cdn passport!

The US government actually cannot relieve ANY naturalising foreigner of the foreign passport. Countries which don't allow true-dual citizenship (such as India) may require the holder to send it to the country's Embassy/Consulate however.

Also, the US passport MUST be used for future reentry into US.
