The world is changing. I live in Texas. All of my neighbours and co-workers are from south Asia. I'm not sure what to think of this. I wonder what happens when the last $ is gone. Maybe Tata motors can hire some of these out of work auto employees from Detroit.

Note:

Please fill out I-130, wait 6 months for approval, then 3 more months for an interview. (Unless of course we've bombed your country into the stone age, then you qualify for expedited processing.)

Welcome to the USA!!!

Oh Vermont service center,

Dont you dare compare yourself to California

We all know they have half the work and twice the staff

You have a very special crew

Do continue with what it is you do

If you start to doubt,

just remember how many naturalizations you turn out!

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Geezzzzz have you seen all the K1 approvals at CSC last week??? I wanna cry!!! And even the K1's from VSC?? What about us K3's? Is a wife or husband now less important than an Fiance??

Even though we have filed a K1 I wonder about that too.

I mean how can it be that you marry and then have to be apart for soo long esp. since I have seen that some of the married couples here have kids. I don't get it. But then again it seems CSC is much faster than VSC.

We have filed June 24 (NOA1 date) and still nothing while others already have their visa now that filed with us. According to VSC we have been assigned to an officer since Nov 13. Don't know what he /she is doing. Sleeping?! Does anybody know here how long it is supposed to take after you got assigned to an adjudicator?

I feel for you, guys. Have a nice week and I pray that for some of you this will be the last week of worries...

Yes, send your love to VSC, that's why I started this!!!

Oh Vermont

You're in my heart

Don't look at my petition

Don't even start

Please let me stay

Alone and sad

Keep away husband

and keep away Dad

Let us wait

forever and ever

Don't you dare

let us be together!

We should start betting on the number of approvals per week. Of course, when you have only a few options, like 0, 1, 2, or 3...it's not as exciting.

I'm going to bet on 2 approvals this week, and 1 RFE.

I think they're gonna be March people only.

What do you think???

You always make me laugh, Lisa.

For you and Narnia, and all of the rest of us who slog on..

I got news today from my imm. attorney, that does not provide me great hope for the upcoming couple of weeks. He knows a few on the inside at VSC, and he called me today because he knows how long I have been waiting. His inside contacts come from his days as a former USCIS imm. judge. He said that, based on the feedback he got from 2 agents at VSC that he knows well, they are not likely to be finished with March approvals by the end of this month. He expects that the next USCIS processing times update will not be moved ahead to April.

I am going to see Natasha the first week of Jan.

It is looking more and more like my estimate I calculated a couple of weeks ago will be correct. Crazy.

All the best to you. Take care, and stay strong.

I hope and pray that we are all approved soon and that we get to post great news all in a row... bam, bam, bam and then bring on the happy dance!!!

Sending good vibes out to you all

Lisa

Hey CJ-G! I always figured your estimates were correct. They were the same as what I estimated. I think our petitions will be approved late January/early February. That's for me, a late April filer. I think if you're lucky, they'll squeeze your petition in before the new year. If you're normal, like the rest of us, then probably the beginning of the new year. You and Natasha have a wonderful time together. I'm going back to my hubby for the last week of Dec/first week of January.

Lisa, you traitor! Your broke the good luck chain of NOT wishing for approvals!!! :help: LOOOOL Just kidding. I think now more than ever, I'm begging God for a speedy approval.

So just curious, have you guys collected everything you will need for NVC? I looked at Ling-Che's shortcut and there's ALOT of stuff I have to get together.

Well, I guess Monday was a bust! Let's see what tomorrow brings!

Nighty night :star:

I know! I just couldnt help it... my cynical shell broke for a moment of weakness. lol

Well, as far as being prepared...i think I have been prepared for each step of this god forsaken process since Feb. LOL

no really, NVC is kind of a breeze for us k3'ers(compared to cr1's). We're focusing more on the interview prep now, and have been for a while.

I have folders with acco fasteners and sections sorted and labeled with proofs, ready to go. That reminds me..Im going to ask my bro to write a letter for us saying that he and my husband talk frequently and bla bla bla.

I left my old job in Jan. and got a letter of employment from them before i left..thats how "ahead of myself" I am. heh

Now, once we get approved i will be running around like a mad woman feeling unprepared and freaking the h*ll out! LOL

I just hope we all do it together :)

u are all ungrateful. as for me, I know VSC changed my life. what was I before VSC? the kind of normal person, working mon-fri, running errands, waiting for the weekend to come, enjoying weekends, hating mondays, hoping for short fridays. not much fun. but since crossing path with VSC, I am changed. my whole view changed. I love mondays, when I imagine the VSC engine starting to move, I wish for long fridays, I hate weekends when nothing moves. I am not wasting weekends having fun anymore. no, I am counting the hours for monday to come. I dont let any day pass without spiritualy evolving either. I developed new ways to pray, hope, curse, read fortune, my bag of superstitions increased, i almost invented spells, I watch for signs, I keep all my lucky items with me all the time... thinking to get a voodoo kit soon. just if now VSC wouldnt screw up and end this enlightening phase in my life, in 2-3 months I am sure Id develop a teleporting machine too. I d get there, Id get rich. the way I see it, if Id get approved now, would be just VSC in the way of my spiritual evolving and inventions. and Id be forced to go back to the small routine of enjoying life. and whats worse, I might get normal again.

I bet on 3 approvals and I really hope none of those will be mine.

and to share from my useful set of superstitions, we think nothing that starts in a tuesday has a happy ending. no monday approvals, so I hope nothing will happen today either.
