I haven't done this in a long time! I"m doing some baking and cleaning today as well as working on a paper. We've decided to give the kids their Santa presents tomorrow for Eid, as we want them to have them before our plane trip and Eid seems a great time!! I'm excited! Have a great day everyone! Oh Btw I posted a cookie recipe thread in OT if anyone is interested!

Happy Sunday To All!!

Sorry to hear your not feeling well Jackie....... :crying:

Hopefully it will be just a 24 hour bug and won't hang on for days

I just woke up not to long ago and I look outside and its snowing!! I love the first snow......its soooo pretty. I'll be bitching about the snow and how much I hate it in March, but right now I'm loving it!!

I hate being sick too Jackie.......who the hell has the time?? I know I sure don't..............I work full-time and four have four kids so if I'm sick NOTHING gets done!! LOL.

Can I ask a?? I filed for a K3 visa in july, but didn't send my I129f in until the end of August.......my question is should I expect to get a noa2 on the date I sent the I130 or I129f in? I didn't know you could send them in together until after the fact and I never got my hard copy of my noa1......I had to call them and get the receipt number. I've only seen one approval of K3 visa this month so far!! There seem to be wayyyy more k1 visa's that are being approved, especially at vsc......Oh well "such is life" & the waiting game continues!!

Morning All! I hope everyone is well...sorry Jax, feel better soon.

Amanda, happy baking. Nothing like the smell of Christmas cookies. We have a bakesale at work on Wednesday for charity and I'm going to bake and decorate sugar cookies. I love to decorate them. :D The cool thing is that I found an organic refridgerated cookie dough, it should be good to make the process go a little bit faster. hehe My mom will also bake some banana bread - should be good. :thumbs:

07/30/11 Recieved NOA1 and Biometrics letter

08/24/2011 Biometrics

08/25/2011 RFE sent to us for some info we've already sent in

08/30/2011 sent in the rest of info USCIS asked for

09/13/2011 went to congressman's office to sign papers for expedite of work permit, due to financial hardship

09/15/2011 Work permit expedite approved!! He can finally find a job!

09/24/2011 work permit arrives

09/26/2011 Apply for social security number!

09/30/2011 Letter is sent for interview

11/07/2011 INTERVIEW!!!

Its 2012 and still no approval! Still waiting

01/27/2012 Letter sent stating that file was sent on for more review :(

Heat wave, its 9 degrees here.

I'm looking around the house thinking, if he was on a plane today..I would be sooooo screwed. In my 6 months alone I have managed to turn the house upside down! I have couches where they should not be. Fish tanks in awkward places. The bed needs to change rooms. :huh: and I really don't have the energy to move.

I did a really cool thing. I bought bird seed and a small bird feeder and today I have the coolest birds outside my window. They are getting a full belly and La Princessa is going crazy watching them! It's funny to watch.

Jackie, flu SUCKS. I hope you feel better soon, just lounge and watch the birds.

Holiday cooking is fun, I bought a ton of supplies yesterday to make lots of stuff in the coming weeks. last night I made a new recipe for pumpkin bars with brown butter icing - I was a little disappointed because they were way too sweet without enough cinnamon-y spiciness to offset it. so either I'll make it again sometime and tweak it or just throw the recipe out. we'll see.
