Our Notice of Action notice date is Oct. 21. And I'm waiting for our Notice of Approval 120-150 days. So, maybe, Feb. or March. I just go with the flow and simultaneously, looking forward for it :)

I sent in my I-129F in October 10, 2008 recieved my NOA1 on October 20. It's December of 2008 and I still have no NOA2 or anything. Is this normal? Or am I waiting longer than normal?

thats relatively normal. we got our noa1 in april. and our noa2 in november. plus the RFE.

to be sure, keep calling USCIS. make sure you talk to someone and not just an automated answer. and jot down the name of the agent. just ask - who am i talking to? and also tell them to take note about your follow up and always give details. like when you got your noa1 and how long youve been waiting, etc.

we didnt do that so they assumed we werent interested anymore. weird huh? they put our file under the abandoned cases. just because we didnt call.

so good luck!

No, u are on time, usually they send u a Noa2 after 5 or 6 months since u received the Noa1, it means you will be receiving ur Noa2 between February and March.

So you filed the same day as me, but I got my NOA1 on the 15th and touched on the 18th. If your timeline were filled out, it would tell you when to expect the NOA2. but since it is not filled out, you can expect it to read something like this:

Hang in there because I waited 5 months from my NOA1 date to my NOA2 date. I know it seems likle such a long wait and gets very frustrating and makes you think something may be wrong. The system is slow and overloaded with petitions to process and all we can do is wait. But check the USCIS processing times on their web site and if the processing date is past your NOA1 date you can call them for a status.
