I sent in my I-129F in October 10, 2008 recieved my NOA1 on October 20. It's December of 2008 and I still have no NOA2 or anything. Is this normal? Or am I waiting longer than normal?

Yes, it is totally normal that you did not get your NOA2 yet. Refer to processing times for the USCIS Service center you applied to (CSC is within 6 months and VSC is around all those filed since March). And if you have not realized, look at everyone's time-lines and IGOR's list statistics, currently July filers are being processed, there are still August, September filers to go before October filers.

Hang on tight, there is still some more time to go for October filers!

Fill in your time line so that you can get an estimate of when to expect your NOA2 for your I-129F.

What if this is just an if the petitioner (I) lives with his/her parents?

It does not matter whether the petitioner lives with his/her parents or not, this fact has nothing to do with the wait times for NOA2.

No I mean would that hurt us in any way? Sorry for not being clear.

No, it does not hurt in anyway, I am the petitioner and I live with my parents as well.

Its ok for not being clear, the more you ask, the more answers you get!

Good luck!

eta: that's the cali timeline. you should update your timeline so people can give a more accurate answer to your questions plus the data you input into that helps keep the vj statistics accurate.
