I always buy hubby ammo for christmas - its such a great gift - the only one that is really well appreciated and used !! This year I have bought him a selection of tactical gear, ammo, and a subscription to a firearms mag. Also got him some clothes to throw him off the scent !!

No tracers?

With that kind of habit, shouldn't you be rollin' your own?

tracers are unnecessary plus they start fires. the above purchase was made to acquire brass for reloading in the future. a large quantity of my brass and ammo mostly disappeared during my divorce and shuffling of guns and ammo between my ex, my sister, and my father.

and as we say in combat, tracers work both ways.

Ahhhhhh, understood. Kind of like the advantage gained when they changed the color of tennis balls.

Never had the op to shoot anything that would cycle fast enough to start a fire.

I'm moving outta Illinlois....one day...I think....maybe. :)

i've seen a few grass fires started by tracers at fort hood, texas. it's not fun as it tends to shut down the range.

tracers are interesting to watch at night when close air is at work on the bad guys though.

my husband just read the list and said he's a jealous jealous man. and said Cat I want everything on that list for xmas.

thanks charles. :hehe:

 your husband sounds like a good guy

No word of a lie. His first gift to me while we were dating was an NRA membership and accompanied by a year subscription to Freedom First.

You can see the troubles that ensued being Canadian and all.

zomg that is a quandrary. you might lose your canadian citizenship over that nra membership.

btw, total cost of the above: $671.22

stock up now, ammo prices are expected to keep increasing.

you lucky dog/... :dance::dance:

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

i'm not buying, i'm selling. have a table at the harrisburg show thsi weekend, and will be trying to offload 3-5K of 8mm and 762X54R as well as a half dozen AK during the post-osama feeding frenzy. should get triple what i paid for the stuff a few years ago. figure the 15 AK and 40K rounds ammo i'll have after the sale is enough for a week or so.

If I lived near Harrisburg, I'd buy some of your ammo.

Every x-mas my mom buy me a couple boxes of 45ACP.
