We got the NAO#1 for the I-129f in the mail today!!! YEAH...it was a nice present for my birthday today!

Hope it is the beginning of a speedy journey.

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview

COngrats!!! I think we will have similar time lines as well...sending out our I-129f on Friday this week so you are a few weeks ahead but still, glad to hear that you got your NOA1 pretty quick on that! I was starting to get a bit worried with this IMBRA thing going on.

Yes...the IMBRA thing has us worried also...the NOA#1 comes fairly quick..a week or two...its the NOA#2 we are concerned about...lets all hope for the best...:)

You need to have the NOA1 for the I-130 BEFORE you can send in the I-129F application.

Libersolis,

Because the non-immigrant option for a spouse is a bandaide that was applied to a wounded spousal immigration process. The underlying spousal immigration process remains unchanged.

The wounds have healed to a great extent - is the I-129f faster? Before answering, be sure to define what you consider to be the starting and ending points.
