Hi VJ

We have gone over the website and have not been able to find clear answers to three questions we have about the G 325 A. The alien fiance copy is not a problem - apparantly we filled it out ok and it was accepted. The problem we have is with the US citizen copy, which we were RFE'd on.

1. Do we fill out the US citizen copy with the US citizen's info or with the alien fiance's info?

2. The Signature of Applicant block - who signs the US citizen's copy - the US citizen or the alien fiance?

3. The "Applicant" in the heavy border block at the bottom of the form: who's info goes there - the US citizen or the alien fiance?

Thank you very much!

For the K-1, both the USC & the foreign fiance/e need to each fill out a G-325A. So the alien fiance would fill out one with his/her info and the USC would fill out one with his/her info. And each would have to sign his/her own copies

Always read instructions carefully, interpret literally and follow exactly. From the I-129F instructions.

A. Submit a completed and signed Form G-325A (Biographic Information) for you and a completed and signed Form G-325A for your fiancé(e). Except for name and signature, you do not have to repeat on the Biographic Information form the information given on your Form I-129F.

Hi VJ

THank you SO MUCH for the fast reply!!! So we each fill out a G325A with our own info. And just to be 100% sure I understand it fully (I can be very thick sometimes!!) for our question 3. - the info in the bold Applicant block is also the same as the one who is filling it out? The thing that is throwing us off with this is the note:

Applicant: Be sure to put your name and Alien Registration Number in the box outlined by heavy border below

Posted

ONLY The US citizen's information goes on the US citizen's G325A. The US citizen signs/dates it. ONLY The alien fiance's information goes on the alien fiance's G325A. The alien fiance signs/dates it.

The applicant on the US Citizens G325A is the US citizen. The applicant on the fiance's G325A is the fiance.

For a K1, under husband/wife, each put "NONE". For a K3, under the husband/wife, the couple puts each other's names.

i don't get it.

In our package:

On both the alien registration number and the social security number we put NONE on the G325A for HER, the beneficiary. If your fiance has either one then the appropriate thing would be to put her SS# and/or A-number as requested. My wife had never been in the US and had neither.

On the alien registration number we put NONE for me (USC) and I put my SS number as requested.
