Service Request-Response Email

We did a service request and the response was through an email saying do not contact them for another six months because they are still processing the paperwork. What I do not understand is that I have asked in the past, through an info pass, calling etc...and there have been no holds or anything. They even siad the background check was complete. It appears that most of April filers have got an interview date. For them to say we have to wait another six months is starting to make me angry. Any options that we can do?

Chris, I'm sorry, it's hard to believe they make you wait so long. Are you outside the processing times of your local office? If so, maybe it's time to contact a senator or congressman? There are no holds on your case, so what takes them so long? Hope you hear something sooner than in 6 months.

Then do as your lawyer says and wait 6 months!!! If it were me I would be contacting my Congressman and asking them to find out what the hold up is and then telling my lawyer to go to hell!

That is what I'm thinking.....just do not want to screw this up. It is our future, but I'm thinking just do it.
