this is great! my interview is on jan 7 at 7am!! who will meet with me?? heheheh my medical will be on 17-18. guys who has same interview and medical like mine. lets meet for a little chitchat!.

My Interview date will be on Jan. 08, 2009 and it is well required that i should have the medical 1-2 weeks before my interview...But my problem is that i still dont have a medical sched., my fiancee have called for that appointment interview! So what should i do?Call st. lukes and ask for an appointment or just wait for an appointment coming from the embassy?

hi. my interview is on january 7, 2009. so a day ahead of you.

medical exams should be 1-2 weeks before the interview. but i might be having mine earlier because im pretty certain of having my period middle of this month or maybe the end. to be sure i will have it early.

you can call USEM and ask them to email you the appointment letter for st. lukes - thats what i did.

but you will also get one mailed to you. so now i have one that came by mail and one on my email account. either way, bring that form with you, your proof of payment, pictures, etc. (requirements for the medical exam are on the manila USEM website)

you dont have to call for a medical exam schedule. all we have to do is show up at st lukes.

its first come first case basis. so we should be there early morning so to finish it all in one day - if there are no findings.

i have a quick question. I checked the online immigrant appointment interview at the US embassy manila site. My interview is on Jan 22 at 0830H. But it was also stated there that my medical is on the same day at 1200H...i already read this somewhere in this forum but i could not find it anymore. Am i right to just disregard the medical schedule on the site since i can go to SLMEC on a first come first served basis? I still do not have the interview appointment letter with me but my hubby scanned and emailed the letter he received from NVC this week. Can I just present it to SLMEC for the medical? i am thinking of having my medical on jan 5 since like you i will be having my period by second week of january. Who will be emailing me the appointment letter here in MNL, the US embassy or still the NVC? thanks a lot!!!

Wow... it seems even the medical exam is harder in the Philippines (like everything else). My fiancee walked into Bumrungrad in Thailand and was seen immediately. Good luck!

st lukes is walk in basis, no need for appointments. however you do need to bring the appointment letter showing your interview date with you . i would suggest having the medical done as soon as possible in case there are any problems.

i just called st. lukes awhile ago..i asked them if i can just bring the letter frm USEM. they said yes! did any other vj's went to have medical at SLMEC with just the letter from USEM? thanks!

im having my medical exam on money and i only have with me the USEM confirmation letter/appointment letter. they said its all we need. plus all the other stuff - photos, passports, black ballpen, $213, snacks, etc...

my interview is on jan 7 at 7 am too. we can meet up, get nervous together. lol.
