Ok I am aware of disclosing everything when sending in my I-129f. Do I also need to send in the pre-sentence investigation from my probation officer? I would think I could send it in but then again I think, "It's not really a police record or court record". I don't feel giving immigration any more info than i really need to. What do you guys think? They are getting the court records from the situation that landed me on probation in the first place, so I think, "Why give them more info than they need?". If they want to obtain more specific info they can contact my probation officer, I believe. I think I may be sending more than is really necessary. I just don't want to give them more ammunition to use against me. Is strictly the police and court records sufficent? Thanks for the help in advance.

Better think twice. Its the Beneficiaries record that is of concern in your case and not yours unless you guys met thru a Marriage Broker.

My fiancee is the beneficiary and she has no record, only me, and I'm the petitioner and I'm a US Citizen..

If and only if you answer yes to the "convictions" questions on the I-129F, you supply the applicable court records. You do this whether you met through an International Marriage Broker or not. If after careful reading of those questions, you are not required to answer "yes", no court records are needed.

I've made bold an incorrect statement in an earlier response.

I've figured this out now guys and i appreciate the help. Now that I've read back through the instructions, it states that to submit all police and court records. It's pretty cut and dried on what they request. I was going to send all kinds of other stuff and pulled it out finding that I was submitting more than they are requesting. I've attempted to follow the directions to a tee, but probably get carried away with details sometimes. In any event, I'm now ready to go send the packet. I've learned a lot and still more to learn. This site is great because of the people here all helping each other. Thanks again everyone. Once I feel confident in all this it will be my turn to help others. Lyle
