Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

We're stuck there as well. They received our case 19th September. Sent out 2 letters, on the 24th and 26th November stating it would be forwarded in a week. Told after speaking with a supervisor

31 days at NVC. I'm sure each day felt like forever. But really that's quite quick, all things considered.

Hope the rest of your process goes quickly now.

upon hearing the news, i can't believe it coz my estimate is to get out of NVC april 22 because I am thinking of the usual 52 days some case stayed at NVC. Nevertheless, I am happy :dance::dance:

guys, just wait and we all get out of this AP stage and will be re united with our love ones. keep the faith and hope burning. :thumbs:

Congrats to everyone who has had something good happen to them, as well as their cases!

I've been a bit busy, with regular, everyday stuff, as well as interview preparations. My fiance is barely alive from doing all our paperwork, too.

Interview's getting soooo close. :star:

I-129F Sent: Aug 20th 2008

Interview Date: April 8th 2009, 10:30 - APPROVED!

K-1 Visa Received: April 9th 2009

POE: Aug 8th 2009, Minneapolis

Wedding: Aug 28th 2009

Our I-129f was approved in 107 days from our NOA1 date.

Our I-129f was approved in 114 days from our filing date.

Our case spent 52 days being chewed by NVC.

Our interview took 224 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

Apr 6, 2009 - OUT OF A.P. !!! File being sent to Kiev !

May 5, 2009 - K3 interview in Kiev! APPROVED !!!

July 12, 2009 - ARRIVAL IN USA !!!

hey guys!! got a new date for my interview.. April 7!! woohoooo!!

That's great! Hope it goes well for you and that you get the visa quickly.

As for us, we finally got our Packet 3 and are sending it back EMS post today.

My only worry is that Thailand has a big national holiday called Songkran coming up, and the embassy will be closed for ten days Apr 10-20.

So given how long it's taking papers to get turned around in and out at the embassy, they may not even look at it to schedule our interview till end of April.

Then again, after all the delays maybe we're finally due for some QUICK processing. I'm optimistic that we can still get an interview scheduled for May, and my honey can travel in June. Can't wait can't wait can't wait...........

Happy to hear that you FINALLY got Packet 3!! :thumbs: We are anxiously awaiting Packet 4 and the all important interview date! Hope that we both can have May interviews and June fiancee arrivals!! :)(L)
