We're stuck at NVC too...not even a case number...........(sigh)....... early approval from USCIS don't make any sense...we have to go through the same time average of upto a year or so........

The only ones we know are truly stuck AP are Nadiya&Joe and Jennifer&Rico, because they are active on our message thread.

My remark was just in regards to the cases that seemed like they were imminently going to be approved. You guys are at 42 days, so I guess you're getting pretty close now!! Hopefully it comes through for you quickly!

Sorry, but I didn't understand, how do you know that you are stcuk at NVC too? Did you call them? As for us, we called them and got our new case # by the phone. Did they put your case into their system?

We're stuck there as well. They received our case 19th September. Sent out 2 letters, on the 24th and 26th November stating it would be forwarded in a week. Told after speaking with a supervisor

OK --- I am joining those in AP. NVC got my file 3/23/09. I called today, "additional processing" taking pace. :(

Welcome to the group, lets hope you a get a quick release and move on with your petition, in the mean time there is a great group of people that provide a lot of support while going thru this process.....

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

I just wanted to bring to everyone's attention that another member of the 'Stuck AP@NVC' club apparently had good news yesterday, and deserves a round of congratulations :D

That would be Jean & Tom

While they haven't been on our thread here (at least that I can remember), they were told by NVC that they were being held for further review.

They spent 51 days stuck at NVC. They were stuck the exact same period Dec15-Feb4 that Badgerella was stuck. Clearly NVC was processing those files in parallel.

Anyway, according to Jean&Tom's time line, they've had their interview, and finally got their Visa YESTERDAY March 30!!!

They had a really rough time of it.. filed I129F almost a year ago, last May. Finally got NOA2 in December, only to get stuck again at NVC. At least they're fee now.

31 days at NVC. I'm sure each day felt like forever. But really that's quite quick, all things considered.
