Hello VJ friend

I did email to NVC to ask what going on our case yesterday.

I got auto response as soon as emailed, i have emailed before as same way but i have never get

auto response which like ask about my case number birthday etc...

They will not answer for me because I did email twice before?

The besy way is just call to real person but im not fluent on phone and my fiance have been very busy recently.

So email is best way for me...

Anyway i have been stuck at NVC for 26days... i learned 7weeks are time frame to wait , I have to wait more about 25days to out?

Welcome to this thread. You will find lots of supports while waiting in NVC. You almost are half way to go. Be patient is the first.

hi,

I just called USEM call center to try and set my interview schedule. she told me that the case has just been uploaded on their system last March 16th but but unfortunately, my case is still not eligible to be scheduled for an interview yet :crying: . I was just wondering why and when can I schedule my appointment. She said to wait until I recieve a notice of instructions. I really dont want to wait for the notice because i understand how long the post office here in manila takes. thats why i choose to call instead.

Does anyone knows how long do I have to wait from my case to be uploaded to the time I can set my interview date?

Hi Lucky

I think at this stage it varies according to the embassy in each country. I really don't know what the process is in Philippines. But since there are so many Filipinos on VJ, I'm sure others could give you better information about what to expect. Hopefully it won't be too much longer for you. Hang in there, you've made it this far!

If it makes you feel any better (I know it won't), we got released from NVC the same day that you did. And we still don't have our Packet3 from Bangkok embassy either. We emailed them today to ask about it. I'm hoping to get our Packet 3 in the next few days. We shall see :)

Thanks uscan for the encouragement. Here in PI, they dont send out packet 3 or packet 4 anymore according to the representative I talked to earlier. whew! its prolonging my agony again. I feel like stuck @ USEM. Should I make another forum with that title?

However, I think Badgerella had a typo: she wrote 50 days or 5 weeks... she meant 50 days or 7 weeks, of course (7 weeks = 49 days).

That I did!

Glad you found us. :D

It is a very disappointing "stop" in the process, but it is easier to be patient because at least you do have an idea of when you will be released. Its not like waiting at the USCIS for an approval.

This is a good group of people and they are very supportive. :)

and yes, we received 4 letters saying it was on its way to the embassy! Cruel joke

Good Luck and welcome

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

For K1 visa, always choose option 5 and speak to an operator. automated status updates are not available for K1. Good luck and yes try to be patient...your turn will come soon :)

50 is approximately time.. most people get out of AP in 50 days ( +/- ) if you read some posts before, last week one was out in 5 weeks.. so, no one knows when it happens.. maybe today?!?!?!

Good luck to everybody!
