Thats great, I was hoping you guys wouldnt have to wait over the weekend to escape :)

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

I have one question about letters from NVC. How many letters do you get from NVC during AP where it is written " your case will be sent within next week"? As for us, we got only 2. The last one was dated 23 Feb.. I have a medical interview soon and I will need one of this letter with KEV #... NVC won't change KEV # before sending to my Embassy, will it?

We got two as well, and both were dated after the AP started. They won't change the number, I didn't have the bit of paper with the AKL number on it, but still had the medical while in AP.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Congratulations !!! you're out of NVC jail, hehehe

you guys, i heard another script and yes email is being included on their call flow, second is they said you might want to call by next week to see if this administrative process is completed. so i guess they have an idea that i am on my 50th day already. by any chance, do u guys suggest to call before they close if u call when they open? do you guys think it will change on the system by the end of the day? i always call like 2 hours from the time they opened.

A few days after I was told "call back next week and we might be able to tell you something different" we were released.

a couple more days and you'll be MOVING on

do you happen to know like how many days?

i wish I had a crystal ball :P its day 51 now for you right? hopefully tomorrow or the next day! :D

yes im on my 51st day. Tomorrow im hoping it will be my lucky day.

luck-e and Kookie, you are going to be out of NVC jail tomorrow, I command.

Hi to everyone, here reporting to "AP DUTY", well my Noa2 was approved on 02/27, and my petition arrived at NVC on 03/04, I thoght I was gonna fly thru it, since it's my second time around, but I was wrong; I'm not stuck on AP and this morning when I called they asked for my figrl's e'mail address (tht was a first) and then the response was the same as usual, and since I read from page one, I know I should be expecting to be @ NVC for the regular 50 days ( which I'm really not counting on), but hopefully be out of there soon, in the meantime, just wanted to join this great group of people and make it a pleasent wait.

Good Luck Everyone

LUSH

Sorry to have you in AP place which no-one likes to be. Time to relax and patient to wait.

Ron, congratulations to both of you!!!! I am happy for you guys!!:dance::dance: Good luck on the rest of your journey!

On the tracking: I believe that the way that it works is this: EXP 12 MAR 2009A means the package was prepared for shipment on 12 March. Yours will be EXP 13 MAR 2009A or 2009B. The pickup will typically be 1 or 2 days later. Cannot get a package named with a date before it was released. Yours will likely be picked up on Monday (or Tuesday) and then available to track the next day. Mine was 09 MAR 2009B (only 1 package to HCM that day) but it was not picked up until 11 March and I could not see it until 12 March.
