Hi to everyone, here reporting to "AP DUTY", well my Noa2 was approved on 02/27, and my petition arrived at NVC on 03/04, I thoght I was gonna fly thru it, since it's my second time around, but I was wrong; I'm not stuck on AP and this morning when I called they asked for my figrl's e'mail address (tht was a first) and then the response was the same as usual, and since I read from page one, I know I should be expecting to be @ NVC for the regular 50 days ( which I'm really not counting on), but hopefully be out of there soon, in the meantime, just wanted to join this great group of people and make it a pleasent wait.

Good Luck Everyone

LUSH

Welcome aboard! Good luck and best wishes for a speedy release!

you guys, i heard another script and yes email is being included on their call flow, second is they said you might want to call by next week to see if this administrative process is completed. so i guess they have an idea that i am on my 50th day already. by any chance, do u guys suggest to call before they close if u call when they open? do you guys think it will change on the system by the end of the day? i always call like 2 hours from the time they opened.

A few days after I was told "call back next week and we might be able to tell you something different" we were released.

a couple more days and you'll be MOVING on

do you happen to know like how many days?

i wish I had a crystal ball :P its day 51 now for you right? hopefully tomorrow or the next day! :D

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

welcome luish, sorry you have to be welcomed into AP jail, but at least you have some support from those going through it and those that have been "released"

Congrats!!!!!!

You are out. There were cases reported in the past similar to yours, where on the day of the NVC release they're a bit confused, and you need to call back to confirm, just as you did.

About 2-4 weeks, I think that's there standard reply. In reality they ship it out by DHL much more quickly. There's some info around earlier on our thread about how you can track your package via DHL website.

Way to go!!!1

(I hope I'm next. Today is my day 50. I'll call later this afternoon. If I don't get out today it will be Monday, which is my day 53 ... giving me cdneh's crown. Gulp, I hope not. Here's to LUCKY FRIDAY 13 )

You have almost identical timeline to me. I too had my NOA2 on Jan 14, and I'm counting my "stuck at NVC" from Jan 22. That makes today Day50. I think I (and you) should be out either today or Monday at the latest. Hang in there!! You've almost made it. Don't lose faith now.

I was going to say that you should call back, glad you did, So you are out?

Friday the 13th IS lucky ;)

Congrats!

I think the 2-4 weeks thing is a standard answer. Ours took a little over a week to reach the consulate.

Good Luck and I hope that it gets there quicker than 2-4.
