this is the thread that turned me form a vj lurker into a regular poster, so I will be coming back regularly also :)

Hope your flight goes well cdneh.

I am pleased to say I flew over yesterday, had a very smooth POE entry at Chicago and now am happily home in Dallas.

I hope many of you are wending your way here very soon also

Congrats!! Welcome to the USA  Good luck with your new married life here. The culture will take some getting used to, particularly in Texas. Hope you like barbecue!!

Please post a review of your POE. I live in Chicago, and I expect my fiancee to fly here and have her POE here at O'Hare, so any advice and tips you can provide about your experience would be welcome.

The thread is nowhere even close to falling off, but I'll still bump it a bit!

All done with the medical. I don't need any additional vaccinations (yay Croatia!), my chest x-ray is all good. They drew my blood for HIV/syphilis test and it'll be done in 8 days. I really am confident I don't have it, so all is good. Overall, I am one very healthy cow.

Now I need to work more on gathering documents for the interview and, of course, studying for my remaining six exams.

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Congratulations on the medical Badgerella!

I fly out today, this evening at 1930. I've some last minute things to take care of, and then I'll be on the way. I'll check back once I'm in and have had a bit of a sleep.

Take care everyone, and look after yourselves! I hope to see some more 'got out of jail' posts then!

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Recall from the past, I called NVC every day began week 6 until I heard the guy named James in NVC told me that I was out. Keep calling them.

I won\'t let this thread fall out.
