Congrats on "GETTIN' OUT"..........Natan and Barenaked!!!!!

I called today.....we are still in there.......but, Monday is the six week mark for us.........so, you all have given me hope that I can call next Friday and have good news.......I make an oath right now not to call until then!!!!!

Also, for those of you who have gotten out before, how long did it take before NVC sent the letter to your home stating that your case was on the way to the embassy? Cuz, you know they always tell you when you call, that they will notify you in writing once your case leaves NVC......have you found this to be true?

Congratulations! I'm happy for you.

Desi,

I think we are the only k3'ers. :(

I just glanced through as many pages as I could stand and everyone here looks to be K-1.

they only pull K visas or what? anyone?

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Haven't received a letter yet (12 days later) I don't think, but then that might have slipped my fiance's mind entirely to mention as I already know its out!

*fingers crossed* that you get good news soon

Guys? what if AP goes over the expiration date of the approval? (for k3) just a thought

I asked about expiration dates for K1 and they said, those lovely NVC people, that nothing can expire as long as it's in USCIS, NVC or USEM hands. Whatever they are sitting on gets automatically extended.

Also, congrats, Natan!

5 weeks 1 day for us. Maybe next Friday we can get out, too.

GrrrIwanttocallsobad. But I won't. *nod*

You know, I went through every single page and I have confirmed that were the only two K3s! I know I know, you must be thinking I'm a dork! Haha

As I stated in other forums, I am not even thinking about 6-7 weeks because when I bank on those, I am proven wrong big time and then I get disappointed. I can't tell my wife about this freaking extra check, otherwise she'll burst into tears because it's been a year since we've been married and seen each other.

Good luck.
